This page explains what personal data Taudalpoi collects when you visit taudalpoi.com or buy from the shop, why, and what your rights are.

What I collect and why

- Orders. When you buy something I receive your name, email, delivery address, what you ordered and, if you give it, your phone number. I use this to make and deliver your order, send order updates and handle returns or questions. Payment details go straight to the payment provider; I never see your card number. The payment providers may also check orders for fraud.
- Newsletter. If you sign up (on the site or by ticking the box at checkout) I store your email address, when and where you signed up, and simple order information such as what you bought and when. I use this to send you news about new art, releases and offers, including a thank-you or discount after a purchase. You can unsubscribe with one click in every email. The emails can tell me whether they were opened and which links were clicked, so I can see what people find interesting.
- Contact form. If you send me a message I receive your name, email and message, and use them only to reply.
- Cookies and analytics. With your consent, the site uses cookies from Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) to see which pages and artworks people like and to show my art to people who might enjoy it. You choose this in the cookie banner and can change your choice at any time under "Manage preferences". The site also uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Who helps me (data processors)

- Fourthwall Inc. (USA) runs the shop, checkout and payments, and sends order emails.
- Gelato prints and ships wall art and calendars.
- Loops sends the newsletter and contact form emails.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Google and Meta provide analytics and advertising, only with your consent.

Some of these companies are based in the USA. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, this is done under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis
Orders: to fulfil our agreement with you. Accounting records: legal obligation. Newsletter, cookies and analytics: your consent. Contact form: my legitimate interest in answering you.

How long I keep it
Order and accounting records: as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires (up to 5 years). Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe. Contact messages: as long as needed to help you, then deleted.

Security
I use trusted providers and sensible safeguards to protect your data, but no system is completely secure.

Children
The shop is not aimed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their data.

Other websites
Links to other sites (such as Etsy or Instagram) are covered by those sites' own privacy policies.

Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will show the latest version.

Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@taudalpoi.com and I'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).
